CD Data Rescue description

Recovers files from damaged or defective CD's

The CD Data Rescue program is designed to recover data from damaged,scratched or defective CD-ROM's, CD-R's and CD-RW's.

CD Data Rescue can recover CD discs recorded in ISO-9660 and UDF format. All files, including deleted and wrong recorded files, can be recoverred. It supports multi-session discs, every session can be examined and scanned. It also can recover files from quick formated CD-RW's.

It supports DirectCD compressed mode (even on old discs recorded with earlier versions), and the new standard Mount Rainier/ Easy Write even on non compatible CD devices.

CD Data Rescue uses algorithms that allow to recover data that Windows cannot read. It includes our exclusive AccuRescue tecnology which allows to recover damaged discs when getting read errors. Even if it is absolutely impossible to recover certain data , the OverRescue setting allows to recover the largest part of a file that can be recovered from the CD, while maintaining the internal file structure.

We have made a big effort to maintain the user interface very easy to use. The program has a powerful self-configuration procedure, the user only have to install it to start recovering. This software has been tested in a wide range of CD drives and CD recorders. CD Data Rescue can be executed in network computers.

CD Data Rescue does not requires large amounts of memory, so you can use the computer normally while CD Data Rescue® is working. However, it is strongly recommended that you do not use this program with other programs that access the same CD drive at the same time. Also, it is not recommended to work with important data while recovering.

CD Data Rescue® is designed to operate with either IDE, SATA or SCSI drives and CD recorders.
