SemiRestore is a free tool that allows you to factory reset iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch without losing your Jailbreak. Many system modifications downloaded from the Cydia store interfere with the system and it may happen that our phone refuses to obey. Thanks to SemiRestore, you can reset it and restore factory settings, just like using iTunes, but this time without fear of losing the Jailbreak. Saving you a hell of a lot of time having to reinstall a jailbreak.
- The application is easy to use - all you need to do is turn on the program, connect your smartphone to the computer with a USB cable, and then click the SemiRemote button.
- The application will start working, connect to our computer and restore factory settings. In the meantime, the device will restart several times, which is normal behaviour and should not be alarmed.
In order to work properly, SemiRestore requires iTunes to be installed on the system, as well as .NET Framework 3.5 or newer libraries. Without these added components you won't be able to successfully perform a store and keep your current Jailbreak.
