Newroot Z1 is a tool for rooting smartphones: Sony Xperia Z1 and Sony Xperia Z1 Compact in a simple and safe way. The program is very simple to use and allows to perform a root quickly, with just one mouse click. The program only works with the following models of Sony Xperia Z1 and Sony Xperia Z1 Compact: C6902 / C6903 / C6906 / C6943 / D5503.
Before you plug in your smartphone and start the rooting procedure is is recommended that you create a safety copy. Newroot Z1 also requires you to enabled developer's options and USB debugging on Android. You have to launch the Newroot.exe application with administrative properties (right-click on the icon, "Run as administrator"). When you have launched the program, check in the rooting option and click on the "Proceed" button. The application will perform a root and then re-boot the smartphone.
