Description foobar2000 Lite v0.8.3:
Audio player that supports MP3 formats as well as WAV and OGG ones. This software offers the best sound quality on the market of software audio players. Data plaback can be in 64bit with conversion to 16/24bit outpot signal with dithering. This player has friendly interface but the look of it is very raw. Program in basic version also has many additional options such as streaming media support, normalizing, tags editor, Audio CD burning, format conversion or co-operation with FreeDB internet database. List of formats supported in basic version: MP3, MP2, Musepack, Ogg Vorbis, WAV, AIFF, VOC, AU, SND, CDDA, MPEG-4 AAC, FLAC, Monkey's Audio, WavPack, Speex, Mod, SPC. Output in basic version can be played by WaveOut, DirectSound, Direct Sound 2 and Kernel Streaming.

foobar2000 Lite is supported by Windows XP 32-bit, Windows Vista 32-bit, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 9x, Windows 2000.

- removed fast seeking hacks from MPC input after new problem reports
- fixed incorrect behaviors with clicking on empty area in albumlist
- slightly faster replaygain scanner
