If you installed the ASPI manager earlier than V4.01, the scanner may not work normally. At start-up, if the "Unknown device is found" dialogue appears on the screen, press "Next" and close that dialogue. The device is registered as an "Unknown device" but it is able to be used with no problem. Depending on the version of Windows95, the name of this device driver "FUJITSU TWAIN32" may not appear on the "Select Source" of an application. If the version 4.00.950 or 4.00.950a of Windows95 is used, obtain and install the latest version of the COMDLG32.DLL file provided by Microsoft Inc. This file is included in the Internet Explorer 4.0 etc.For WindowsNT? 4.0 user: Make sure to log in as an administrator, and start the installation. 32bit ASPI manager V4.01 or later version is required to install the scanner.
