Maybe they "should" work, but I haven't been able to get them working. I tried installing under compatibility mode for Windows 7. Has anyone actually gotten this to work?
There is a program called VueScan that does work, however you have to pay money to get rid of this annoying watermark they put onto the scanned images.

Officialy Epson doesn't provide drivers for Win8 for this scanner.. Try to install Win7 drivers, they should work.
