Sometimes you may need to open a certain program as an administrator. This action allows you to access a bigger amount of functions and authorizations. If you use this way of running programs frequently, you should consider setting given programs to run as administrator by default.

Thanks to running programs as administrator you get to use more advanced settings and authorizations, when e.g. you use certain software or play computer games. It comes in handy when using tools that interfere with Windows.

A while ago we addresses automatically opening Command Line as administrator. To enable this you need to do some digging around your files. The matter gets really easy when you run programs as administrator.

1. Right-click the program.
2. Choose 'Properties' form the context menu.

3. Choose the 'Compatibility' tab.
4. Acces the 'Settings' section and enable the 'Run this program as administrator' option.

5. Click 'Apply' and then 'OK'.

That is all that needs to be done. After you exit the properties and run the program again, it will automatically run as administrator.
