For quite a while services that allow to store and sync your data in a cloud have been springing up like mushrooms after a warm summer rain. Apart from the leaders - Dropbox and Google Drive, there is also SugarSyng, SkyDrive and many more. Just a few moments ago yet another service - 4Sync - appeared on the market. Let's take a look at its premise.
Once you have installed the program and set up a free account you can use up to 15 GB of free space to spend on any files. You sync and send your data with a special website in your browser, using a folder created on your hard drive, or with a dedicated application. Additional tools available on the website in your browser are worth extra attention - you can, among all, change the names of the files and folders, add and edit tags, convert documents to PDF format, and so on. with 4Sync you can also create recovery copies of your private data, and nobody says you cannot create a copy of your operating system just in case.
Installing and configuring 4Sync
1. After you have downloaded the installer (7.21) you have to install 4Sync and register on the website.
2. Choose the destination folder and get through the installation process. A new cloud-shaped window should appear.

3. If you are a new user of 4Sync service, go for "I'm new to 4Sync", but if you already have an account choose "Log in existing account". Click on the arrow to confirm your choice.
4. In the next cloud you can find a traditional questionnaire - insert your data, e-mail address and a password in separate fields. You can also change the default name of your computer. Once you have filled in all the fields, click on the arrow.

5. After a while you will receive a message with an activation link on the e-mail you have provided the installer with. Once you have clicked it, you will be forwarded onto 4Sync's main website and can log into your account. Type in your e-mail address, the password and click on "Log in" to move to your cloud drive.

6. When you have logged in you can go back yo 4Sync's cloud to choose the way you want the program to be installed.

7. In the next step you will see 4Sync's welcome window. On the page number 4 click on "Finish" to complete the installation process.

You can access you cloud drive from both Internet browser, as well as dedicated software. You can also go for Windows Explorer - all you have to do is to go to 4Sync's folder. You get 15 GB of storage space for free, but if you need more you can choose the paid offer - 100 GB of space costs $6.25 per month, while the astonishing 1 TB of storage space will need you to pay $20 - provided that you pay for a year in advance.
