8GadgetPack is a set of gadgets most people will be familiar with from Windows 7, intended for users of the latest version of Microsoft - Windows 8. 8GadgetPack restores widgets that were not included in Windows 8 and creates a characteristic sidebar on the desktop to which we can attach useful system gadgets. There are 45 different gadgets available with various functions. You will find a classic dial clock, a weather plate, a volume control, a notebook with yellow cards, a widget responsible for monitoring background processes, a network data flow meter, an e-mail widget, a slide show, an internet radio and many, many more additives.
In addition to the gadgets integrated with the installer, the user can still install gadgets from files with the .GADGET extension. This means that we can easily pin widgets from the Skype communicator to the bar, or an add-on for controlling virtual Daemon Tools discs and many others that can be downloaded from the network.
The kit is very easy to install, just follow the installer. Once installed, we will find a sidebar with several widgets on our desktop. At the top, you will find buttons for adding new widgets and arrows for navigating between more pinned add-ons. The bar serves as an aggregator that helps to organize the selected gadgets. The user can also pull widgets from the bar and place them anywhere on the screen.
