Pixlr is one of the most famous and powerful online image editors. There are three versions currently available - basic (Pixlr-o-matic), advanced (Express) and full (Editor). You can choose the one that suits you needs and skills.
One of the most important things about Pixlr is the fact that its interface resembles the look of the one in Adobe Photoshop. At the top, there is a classic menu, namely a File. On the left hand side there is a toolbox equipped with tools, and on the right we can find a history, navigator and manager of layers.
Unlike other online image editors, Pixlr supports layers the same way as Photoshop. The toolbox consists of a wide range of well-known applications like blur, sharpen, smear, stamp, gradient or dropper. It offers more than 600 effects and overlays.
The service also features color palettes, like HSL, RGB and Web. Not to mention over 30 filters at the top of menu - including things like Whirlpool, kaleidoscope, HDR, or pastels. Pixlr offers a funny way to modify photos, letting you change the contrast, brightness, curves as well as easily crop, re-size, remove red-eye, and even whiten teeth.
