Barely have Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios confirmed the existence of Forza Motorsport 4, that the two companies are hyping it up as the most realistic racing game ever released "on any console." In case you haven't watched last weekend's Spike TV Video Game Awards, Microsoft officially revealed the next chapter in the popular Forza Motorsport franchise, Forza 4, which will take the series to new heights and boast Kinect compatibility. According to Microsoft, who will publish it, the title will be "the definitive racing game of 2011." "Forza Motorsport 4 will be the most expansive and vividly realistic automotive experience across any console, bringing you closer to the edge than you've ever been before," Microsoft revealed in the game's official announcement. Besides offering lots of detailed cars and tracks, Forza Motorsport 4 will also take advantage of the Kinect, Microsoft's motion sensitive peripheral that was launched last month. According to the company, with the use of Kinect, players are going to be able to "step through the TV screen and jump into the driver's seat." The rest of the description sounds pretty interesting, but we'd much rather wait and see some actual gameplay footage until we can cast our opinion. Forza Motorsport 4 will feature "bone-jarring physics, unparalleled levels of customization, and rosters of dream cars and tracks." Sadly, besides all that marketing talk, no other details were revealed, so racing fans will still need to wait and see if the new Forza Motorsport 4 will trump other titles like Gran Turismo 5, Need for Speed: Shift 2 or other such games. Judging by the trailer released last weekend and Microsoft's promises, do you think Forza 4 will become "the most realistic racing game" ever?
