Ubisoft has announced that it will release a demo of Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 for the Xbox 360 on the 16th of August and for the PlayStation 3 on the 17th of August. It will be comprised of two missions. The demo of H.A.W.X. 2 will only be available for the to High-Definition consoles, while the full game will also arrive on the PC and the Nintendo Wii. Interception Course is one of the two mission and involves the player taking the role of a Russian pilot sent to intercept a group of stolen aircraft high above the Caucasus Mountains, a hot spot on the world conflict radar. The second mission is called Seek and Destroy and is played the perspective of the elite U.S. HAWX squadron deployed to settle conflict spilling over in Africa. The players are tasked with taking out specific targets with smart ammunition at night. They will take off from a carrier under the cover of night and strike against a weapon smuggling operation using precision guided laser bombs. Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 allows gamers to take control of various contemporary fighting aircraft like the F22 Raptor, the F-35 Lightning II and the Su-37 Terminator and get a feel of the modern warfare in the sky. There are many new features in this sequel like the ability to take off and to land, using airfields and carriers. This time around one will get to control an unmanned aerial vehicle for a more stealthy approach. Ubisoft Bucharest is promising that the title will see numerous improvements in the graphics and AI departments as well as different enhancements to the title's multiplayer component. Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 will be released in North America on the 7th of September 2010, with a launch date for the PC and Nintendo Wii to come at a later time.
