The developers of the very successful Angry Birds finally have admitted that the rumors we have been hearing are true, and the company is exploring the possibility of bringing Angry Birds to video game consoles as well as handhelds.
Rovio has not quite figured out how to do it yet, but the company has admitted that the console and handheld market represent a chance to polish the graphics and work with the physics to make it more realistic, and perhaps increase the story line of the game.
While no plans have been confirmed yet, Rovio is apparently looking at every console as well as handhelds to figure out which direction they will go. Rumors persist, however, that the Xbox 360 might be one of the first to get an edition of Angry Birds, as the company recently worked with Microsoft to get Angry Birds on Windows Phone 7. Of course, no one is going on the record to confirm that this is the case.
