  • Go to Settings > Developer Options.
  • Now scroll down and disable USB Debugging then enable it again and tap Ok to confirm.
  • After you have done this, reconnect your phone, accept the new RSA Fingerprint prompt and launch SCRCPY again. It should connect without any issues.

Make an exception on Windows for your Phone’s IP address.

The other main reason that SCRCPY Wireless will crash as soon as you open it is if your computer is blocking the wireless connection. To fix this you will need to make an exception in your firewall for your phone’s IP address. This is the same IP address you used to set up your device the first time. If you haven’t done this before, follow the steps below.

  • Search Firewall from the start menu then open Firewall and Network Protection.
  • In the new window click Advanced Settings.
  • In the next window select Inbound Rules then New rule on the right.
