I've had my PC for a few years and about a week ago it started to turn off randomly, I don't know what's going on, it was okay one day and suddenly it may turn off without a reason

  1. There may be a lot of reasons for your PC to shut down without your permission... what you should do: 1. check your hard drive (whole!) with an anti-virus suite - malware may cause the system to shut down 2. check if there are any hardware conflicts - in the Device Manager (right-click on My Computer, choose "Properties" from the context menu, click on "Device Manager" on the left panel) check out for yellow exclamation mark that signalise hardware conflicts. If there are some, re-install drivers 3. Check the temperature of your components - if GPU or CPU are over-heating the computer will turn down to prevent any damage. Clean any dust from inside the base, apply cooling thermal paste to the CPU 4. If you still have no idea then take the computer to a service, you can make it worse when trying to fix things!
