Suyu Stuck at Loading Screen Fix – Game Launch and Load Screen Issues

If you are trying to play games using the Suyu emulator on Windows but nothing works because every time you launch the app or a game it just gets stuck on a launching screen, this guide will walk you through what to fix. Suyu behaves basically the same as Yuzu, so the causes and solutions are nearly identical. If your system is too weak to run Switch emulation, don’t waste your time trying to force it to work.

What’s Causing Suyu to Get Stuck on the Launching Screen

• This problem usually happens because of:
• A corrupted qt-config.ini file
• Broken or outdated NAND folder
• Incomplete firmware installaion
• Missing system files in the NAND
• Switching between different Suyu builds without cleanup

• You can access the Suyu folder in two ways.

Option A from inside Suyu

• Open Suyu
• Go to where it shows NAND or config paths

Option B recommended

• Press Windows + R on your keyboard
• Type the following and press Enter %appdata%\suyu

This opens the main Suyu configuration folder.

Reset Broken Configuration Files

Inside the suyu folder, do the following:

• Delete the config folder
• Delete the cache folder optional but recommended
• Find and delete the file qt-config.ini
• Delete the entire shader folder if present

This resets broken settings and clears the corrupted shader cache.

Reinstall prod.keys in Suyu

• Open Suyu
• Click File > Open Suyu Folder
• Open the keys folder
• Copy your prod.keys file into this folder

Your final structure should look like: \suyu\keys\prod.keys

• Restart Suyu

Reinstall Firmware in Suyu

Your firmware should be in a normal folder, not zipped.

• Open Suyu
• Click Tools > Install Files to NAND
• Browse to the folder that contains the firmware files
• Click Select Folder

Suyu will now install the firmware automatically. You will see a message when it finishes.

Test Suyu After a Restart

• Close Suyu completely
• Right-click Suyu and choose Run as administrator
• Launch a test game

If you followed the steps correctly, the infinite launching screen should be fixed.

If you Still Have Problems

If nothing above worked, delete everything and start over. Something in your setup is broken. Re-download the latest Suyu version, get fresh prod.keys and the latest firmware, then re-add your games. Also, make sure your computer is actually powerful enough to run Suyu, or you will keep hitting the same problems no matter what you fix.
