Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset is a tool which can help in locating and repairing problems that prevent normal booting of Windows. Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset is part of the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack.

Microsoft DaRT includes the following tools:

Cash Analyzer Wizard - this tool finds all kinds of problems associated with the system.
File Restore - this tool can recover files that were deleted from the Recycle Bin.
ERD Commander - a tool that will allow us to carry out system diagnosis and repair procedures such as the recovery of data, exclusion of problematic drivers and bug fixes.
