Description Audiotools 6.40:
Audiotools is a direct-to-disk recording tool with the facility to automatically split a recording into tracks. It can split a recording into separate tracks, either by silence detection or under manual control. Any recordings which are already on your hard-disk can be automatically split or "auditioned" to manually split them. This is considerably faster than a graphical approach and can be happily left unattended in "auto-track" mode.

Audiotools is supported by Windows XP 32-bit, Windows Vista 32-bit, Windows 9x, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000.

Changelog Audiotools 6.40:
* A new batch mode has been added to allow processing of multiple files with different settings
* You can now override directories with "Various" in the Namebase. This means that if an album is homogenous (all of one artist) the name of the artist will be used, otherwise they will be stored under the name Various, thus preventing tracks being scattere
* Not all features of the File Report would work when launched automatically after a recording. This has now been fixed
* The ripper would ignore the track selections if FreeDB support was disabled. This has now been fixed
* The second field in the name format would come out incorrectly if working in French or German. This has now been fixed
* Dates and times in programs started by the scheduler or the record wizard now reflect the settings for date and time separators specified in the app
