How to Change Character Appearance in Dragon’s Dogma 2

There are two primary ways of changing the way your character looks in Dragon’s Dogma 2, and both methods are ridiculously expensive.

The first method is by visiting a barber in a major city. This is standard procedure in most modern games these days. The only catch is that it will cost between 10,000 and 25,000 gold depending on what you want to change. But there's still a limitation in what you can change....

The second method is by using the Art of Metamorphosis item. An in-game item that costs RC (in-game microtransaction currency) This method is absolutely ridiculous and requires you to spend real-world money just to change what your character looks like in game.

Note: If you want to change your character’s physical build and features, you’ll need to use the Art of Metamorphosis instead (which costs $ 2 USD). Head over to the Great Rift Crystal in Vernworth and speak with the NPC standing next to it to find a whole bunch of items you can purchase with Rift Crystals ($ 1 USD for 500)

Basically, the first method will cost you massive amounts of gold, while the second method will cost you RC instead which is real-world money. What an absolute scam.

Where to Change Your Character Appearance in Dragon's Dogma 2?

In the cities of Vernworth and Bakbattahl, you can check your map for a scissors icon that indicates the location of the local barber. Once you've found the location, head over there and speak with the NPC, and you’ll be able to pay 10,000 to 25,000 gold to change different aspects of your appearance. If you don't have that you can pay $2 USD to edit your character appearance using the Art of Metamorphosis item. Quite the joke in a single-player game after spending $80.00 right? REFUND TIME!

Extremely bad Practice in Dragon's Dogma 2 - Just refund it.

To top it all off the game is so money-hungry and riddled with Microtransactions they have stored your character appearance on their servers so deleting your save files from \STEAM\userdata\NUMBER\2054970\remote\win64_save and making edits within the character creator, even with Cloud saves off, does not apply to your in-game character.
