Microsoft Game Pass is the best value for money gaming subscription currently on offer. There are well over 100 games with new content landing on the platform each and every month. Although there are some issues with the PC version (we’ve covered them all here) It’s still worth every cent, especially considering that a lot of the new content that is added is day one release content.
If you are still on the fence about trying Game Pass on PC Microsoft has just dropped a fantastic offer of 3 free months of Game Pass for anyone who has played Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, or Age of Empires 4 before Feb 28 2022. Obviously, this offer is for new Game Pass users and doesn’t apply to anyone who already has or has had a Game Pass sub. So how exactly do you take advantage of Microsofts 3 free months of Game Pass? Easy!
Note: This excludes logins on consoles and via cloud gaming services. That said, you can take up the offer even if you only played the free Halo Infinite multiplayer before this date.
How do you claim 3 free months of Game Pass for playing Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, or Age of Empires 4 before Feb 28 2022?
First things, first, this is only available for new customers who have played any of the three listed games before February 28 2022. Secondly, you only have until the 30th of April 2022 to claim the offer. This means there isn't a lot of time left.
- To begin, you need to head on over to the following website https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-game-pass/pc-game-pass/trial-offer
- Once you are on this page, scroll down and click sign-in. Now sign in with the account you played these games on. Just remember if you have had a Game Pass sub with this account before you probably won’t be eligible (if you’re lucky a really old sub date might work)
- Now that you are signed in, it will take you back to the same screen where you will need to click the Check Eligibility icon.
- As soon as you click the icon you will find out if you are eligible for 3 free months or not eligible for 3 free months. As you can see below, my account is not eligible as I already have an active Game Pass sub.
- Finally, you will have to jump through the usual payment method/signup steps, though your account will not be charged until the 3 months are up. So if you don’t want to forget just sign up to activate the 3 free months, then cancel your subscription straight away.
I originally signed up for Game Pass under the $1 free trial program and have kept my subscription for over a year now. The value is just too good to be true.
