If it has been a while since you updated your drivers or clean installed them. Or if you have upgraded your graphics card. Make sure you clean install everything using DDU.

  • Download Display Driver Uninstaller

  • Download the latest GPU driver you want to use.

  • Disable your Internet connection.

  • Open DDU and select the option to remove GeForce Experience (GFE) if prompted. You will get a similar message if you are using AMD Graphics.

  • When the process finishes, let your computer restart.

  • Next, install the driver version you downloaded earlier and enable your internet connection.

  • One more Restart should do the trick!

If you are still having problems with Davinci Resolve could not initialize OpenGL.

  1. Make sure that you have tried using the latest drivers available for your GPU.

  2. If you recently updated to newer drivers and the issue started, go back to the old ones for a while.
