How to log into two Skype account at the same time?

Skype is a popular messenger, but it has its drawbacks - by default it only allows to run one user account, so you can only be logged into one copy of the program at the time. This poses a serious problems for those people who would like to, for example, use their company and private accounts simultaneously.

If you have already launched Skype and then clicked on its shortcut in the Start Menu you won't be presented with another window, but simply redirected to the already opened account.

To bypass this turn on the Run... screen (by hitting the hotkey: [Windows]+[R], or by choosing it from the Start Menu) and type in a command:

"C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe" /secondary (for 32-bit systems), or

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe" /secondary (for 64-bit systems).

Alternatively you can set up a shortcut on the screen that you will call for example Skype - twice. It can be just a standard Skype shortcut with the /secondary parameter added to the target. You can do it by right-clicking on a shortcut and choosing Properties from the context menu.

This feature works only if Skype's first copy is already running. Your another Skype won't log in automatically even if this option is ticked on. You will be always presented with the panel with the default login and password for you to insert your data.
