A lot of people probably aren't aware that Steam has an absolutely massive library of sex games and other NSFW content because it is hidden behind the default safety settings. Which is why Steam has finally added the ability to private games so that only you can see them.

This is why most gamers will set themselves as offline while playing certain titles. The private feature isn't just for when purchasing though. You can also, once updated, set individual games as private so they will disappear for everyone else. That includes hiding your ownership, in-game status, playtime, and activity in that game. How to Set Steam Games as Private - Hide NSFW Games in your Steam Library.

Now that Steam is up to date you can finally hide your game on Steam.

As soon as you make the change Steam will show a little mess detailing what this process is going to do. That specific game will now be hidden behind privacy settings and the game details will be hidden from everyone else. It will still appear in your gaming library as usual but Valve has finally made sure that if you are a gamer in this niche you don't have to be worried about your habits leaking to everyone on your friends list. You can also do this on Steam deck if you need to. However, once you change Steam will hide these games from your friends and everyone else.

If you change your mind at any stage and would like people to see everything you are doing in a game you made private just repeat the exact same process in reverse.
