KatMouse is a small application that allows you to completely customise the scrolling behaviours of your mouse in windows on Windows systems. KatMouse adds scrolling functions to inactive windows, that when using several applications at the same time, allows you to use the scroll action across all windows, without having to switch between them.
KatMouse also has an additional function related to the wheel button. As the wheel button is not used often in the system, the creator of the program decided to add an optional function to it, thanks to which you can "push" the windows to the background. All you have to do is click the scroll button within the selected application, and the program window will be hidden under another window that is in the background. You can turn off the pushing of windows in the program settings. KatMouse also allows you to customize individual settings for each application. In the "Applications" tab, you can select programs and set separate mouse wheel settings for individual windows. Just select the application's EXE file and set the scrolling speed. Installation and operation of the program are very simple, additionally, the application is located in the system tray, right next to the clock, so it does not interfere in any way with everyday work with the computer. During installation, we can choose the option of adding the program to the autostart, thanks to which it will automatically start with the system.
KatMouse is one of those tools you don't really know you need until you've used it. It adds quite a unique feature to Windows that does in fact prove to be quite handy.
