Folder Move is one of the easiest tools available for moving installed items on Windows 10 to alternate locations. It doesn’t require installation (it’s portable) and is as simple as selecting the current location and the desired location. Once selected, all you have to do is click Move and Set Symbolic Link and Folder Move will take care of the rest.

Another really good third-party tool you can use to move installed items on Windows 10 is Application Mover. This program works in an almost identical way as Folder Move, however, requires you to install it first. Apart from that simply enter the current location, then the desired location and click Ok to start the transfer. The interface of Application Mover has quite a few more options, though you can ignore most of them and still get perfect results.

The third and final tool you can use to move installed items is called Steam Mover and although it was designed for Steam games works well for a variety of other content. Steam Movers interface is a little more complicated than the other two options but it works just as well.
