You might have stumbled across this game on either Android or iOS. This great side-scroller tells you the story of a guy who has stolen a jetpack and now is trying to escape from tip-top secret lab where he worked. Graphics is based on old arcade game with a lot of colours and kabooms. On your way you can collect coins that you can later exchange for items and skills. You can also unlock qutie a lot of Xbox Live achievements.
Something for old good RPG fans. Dragon's Blade is a completely free game that also allows you to play online. Gamers can choose among a vast variety of items. There is a typical battlefield, and if you like going through dungeons, defeating difficult bosses and playing games such as old Final Fantasy series, then you will certainly enjoy playing Dragon's Blade.
Minesweeper used to be Windows' part for about 20 years. Windows 8 allows you to download a new version with not only better GPU, but also new game modes. In adventure mode you have to guide your character (similarity to Indiana Jones? Naaah, impossible!) to the centre of Earth, looking out for mines and other obstacles.
ARMED! is a science-fiction strategy. You become the leader of a team of futuristic tanks, towers and robots that have to get onto the enemy's area and destroy their army and base. You can choose among more than a dozen of offensive and defensive units, more than 50 amendments for your units, and there is also multiplayer.
One of the most popular Windows Store games. Adera is an adventure point-and-click game with an interesting plot. You can visit a dizzying array of fabulous locations and solve riddles. Gameplay is very enjoyable, with all the steering done with your mouse, and graphics is rather impressive. As Jane Sinclaire you can uncover mysteries and secrets, collect items, explore the world and discover a new civilization.
In Robotek you are placed in a world taken over by the machines. The gameplay is pretty much limited to fighting your enemy's robot. You can build you own robot, hack your enemy's machine, and attack it with special combos. By using symbols you obtain you can create new units, enhance your robot, and use improved attacks. The game comes with a campaign mode and a multiplayer.
In a popular move Judge Dredd fought with criminals and thugs... but the times, they are a-changing and now zombies are in, so they couldn't infect this one. In this game you become the well-known Judge Dredd who has to save Mega-City One from the Undead's invasion. You embark on your journey with a gun and three other weapons you can later improve. On 30 levels you will have to defeat various enemies, and the game is played with both keyboard and games.
