3DMark06 is the worldwide standard in advanced 3D game performance benchmarking. 2006 is the newest version of that popular benchmarking application. Although the application still reminds the old version technically is completely different. Animations has been upgraded and now they are using Shader Model 3.0 and HDR rendering.
